1. i like it too! the 1st chinese design i like. the 1st that doesn’t look cheap and unsecure.

   Says who? This looks like a boring Altima merged with a Jetta in the front and a Corolla from the rear. The Chinese are so pathetic to have to blatantly steal designs from legit car manufacturers. Let’s see them attempt to copy their crash tests.

6. I don’t know what, again, you think is so terrible about the Jetta (at least compared to this), but all I see is a derivative red blob. Smooth and slight curvy, but like the typical new Hyundai small sedan with random details, a blobby shape, and nothing standout.

   At least not a 100% ripoff of something like every other Chinese vehicle, but still too close to ALMOST.

9. Historically all cars have looked like all other cars. Just think back to the 20s for the best expression of look-a-like design. Most cars only differ in detail anyway. On that basis I think this one has quite a bit of individuality about it.

    i remember when vince first post the photo of the roewe 750, at that time nobody mention anything about how this car is just a rebadged rover 750, which came from the Mg/rover group which was an english company ran and operated by english ppl. half a dozen ppl immediately started to attack the styling of that car and claim that it was too much of a copy of cars like the 300c etc. same thing with the chery m14 coupe, when it was first posted dozens of ppl immediately claim that it was a eclipse “copy”, then those same ppl dissappeared to nowhere when later posts clarified that the car was designed by pininfarina, the same company that designed ferraris and maseratis.

    but i guess that’s one of the reason why i have so much fun reading these posts.
