Chevrolet FNR-XE Concept…
Last Updated:
The new Chevrolet FNR-XE is a new Ultium-based concept from GM.
This is apparently previewing a new EV sedan. Probably targeted at the Chinese market.
This looks quite a bit like the new Toyota bZ-3. Also mostly for the Chinese market. Especially the profile. The front end has a weird Lexus-like grille. And the whole thing looks quite generic. At least it doesn’t really look old, but it’s not far. Nothing here says Chevrolet or even GM. I mean, a two-door version of this could maybe look like an electric Camaro? Who knows. It would be funny to preview the next Camaro with a 4 door sedan concept. It’s usually the other way around…
So far, this design isn’t sporty at all. A Camaro out of this would be pretty sad and unattractive. This and the new Buick Electra 5 are two recent fails for GM IMO. Let’s hope they don’t become part of the US lineup…
Funny, I felt like the design is very clean and muscular. I think it looks fantastic! The naming definitely reflects Toyota though…
Next Gen Honda Accord (Prologue is a GM based Honda)
I think this looks very nice. It’s relatively sleek for crossover without the assignment histrionics of recent Chevrolet designs.
Vince, I think your aviators have fogged.
Bland, generic and completely forgettable.
I agree with the other commenters, this looks really nice and clean. No more generic than most cars out there. If this drives sporty too it would be a great option.
Looks fantastic, great to see cars being produced again, instead of those square things called SUVs.
* adolescent histrionics
Damned “predictive keyboards”.
