Chrysler Halcyon Concept.
Last Updated:
Chrysler‘s new teaser is as obscure and weird as the one we saw a couple of days ago.
At least we now have a name: Halcyon. Which is as weird and obscure as the teaser. Halcyon is serene, calm, or pleasant. This means this will not be a Tesla plaid competitor, which is great since the world doesn’t need another 0 to 60 in 2 seconds EV.
Most buyers want something comfortable. Let’s hope this new Chrysler isn’t a super expensive luxury car either. What they need is something visually compelling that people want to own. Like so many great concepts they did in the 90s. They also need to show something close to production. And not something like the weird Lancia Pu+Ra HPE Concept we saw last year. Followed by a production model ( Lancia Ypsilon) that struggles to incorporate a few design cues from the crazy concept.
What they will show next week needs to be something as close to production as possible.
There is still hope…
