These new spy shots of the 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 9 show how close it could look to the Seven Concept we saw in late 2021.
Of course, it will be toned down. It will have 4 regular doors and a much more conventional interior. Still, it seems most of the original design could have made the transition to production. Which would be great news.
Kia was able to come up with a production version of the Kia EV9 that looked very similar to its concept. Which is obviously what Hyundai is trying to do with the Ioniq 9.
The Ioniq 9 will be Hyundai’s version of the Kia EV9. Its name was recently changed from Ioniq 7 to Ioniq 9, probably allowing for even more upcoming EVs from Hyundai. The specs will be very similar to the Kia version. The new Hyundai Ioniq 9 will be unveiled in June.
So far, the Kia eV9 has been getting great reviews in the US. It has also been quite popular with over 4000 units sold in the first 3 months of 2024. Kia EV6 sales are also up 55% from last year.
Things are looking good for Hyundai and Kia EVs.
