2025 Nissan Murano.

These super realistic illustrations show what the next-generation 2025 Nissan Murano could look like.
We’ve seen quite a few spy shots of the new Murano and so far, these illustrations seem to match the design from these photos.
It might be a bit of a surprise to see a new Nissan Murano around the corner since the recurrent generation hasn’t been that popular lately. However, the current model is already almost 10 years old! And sales have of course been shrinking after all these years on the market. Down to just 31,138 units last year. From a high of almost 87,000 in 2016.
I guess Nissan figures the Murano still has a few years before it goes fully electric in a while. Although the Nissan Ariya could already be seen as an Electric Murano.
Besides some spy photos and illustrations, the next-generation Nissan Murano is still mostly a mystery. It is rumored to use a version of the current platform, like most new ICE models lately, since most of the R&D cash is spent on EVs. The good news is the replacement of the CVT by a 9-speed auto, just like in the current Pathfinder. However, there is a sad rumor about the super smooth V6 being replaced by some newer 4-cylinder Turbo, following the current trend.
I actually don’t think the V6 will be replaced since the Pathfinder still uses it and Nissan is trying to save some cash on the new Murano. We’ll see…
The new Murano will not be the only new mid-sized SUV next year since Honda will also have a new generation Passport. Which will keep its wonderful V6.
