This short video is an introduction to the new and redesigned 2024 GMC Acadia.
The new generation is larger since it shares its platform, and powertrain, with the equally new Buick Enclave and Chevrolet Traverse. As usual, the main event of the GMC version seems to be the giant chrome grille. Otherwise, it looks very similar to its GM cousins.
The video shows the luxury Denali trim as well as the more off-road-oriented AT4. Driving around on and off the road.
I personally think the Chevrolet Traverse is the best-looking one of the three models. It’s really hard to get past the GMC’s ghastly obnoxious grille. And I think the new Buick Enclave looks much too generic and worse than the previous generation. However, it seems to have a fantastic interior…
Also, let’s hope the 2.5 Liter turbo replacing the smooth 3.6 Liter V6 is a bit more refined than the unacceptably agricultural 2.7 Liter engine in the GMC Canyon.
