2024 GMC Acadia pricing.
Last Updated:
As expected, the new 2024 GMC Acadia will be more expensive than its predecessor.
It will start at $ 42,600 for the “Elevation” version. Instead of $38,195 for the 2023 base model. For that extra money, you are getting a much more powerful 2.5 Liter Turbo engine with 328HP, instead of the standard 2.0 Liter in the previous base model. (A 3.6 liter V6 was an option). You also get a much nicer and larger SUV. It is now sharing its platform with the 2024 Chevrolet Traverse and the upcoming redesigned Buick Enclave. The 2024 model is almost a foot longer than the previous version.
At over $ 42,000, the base model is still on the high side when compared to others like the Honda Pilot, Nissan Pathfinder, or Mazda CX-90. But less expensive than luxury brands like the Lexus TX, Acura MDX, or even the forgotten Infiniti QX 60.
The new rugged AT4 model starts at $50,000. And the top of the line Denali model starts at $54,300. AWD is standard on the AT4 and a $2000 option on the Elevation and Denali.
The new GMC Acadia seems much nicer than the revised 2025 Ford Explorer we just saw, for about the same money. At $ 54,000, the Denali seems to be competing against the MDX, which starts at around $ 50,000. I personally think the new Acadia could have been a little bit cheaper. Although it’s only about $3000 more than the 2024 Traverse. It will be interesting to see pricing on the upcoming redesigned Buick Enclave, since it already starts at $ 44,000. However, there is still room to charge even more since the Acura MDX starts at $50,000 and the new Lexus TX at $ 55,000…
