2025 Lincoln Navigator.

Last Updated:

Unlike what Lincoln is saying, this is NOT an all-new Navigator. And that’s OK.

For 2025, the Navigator will compete with the refreshed Cadillac Escalade, which is not all-new either. At least, it seems most of the body panels of the Lincoln Navigator, except the doors, are new. And just like the 2025 Escalade, the interior is also mostly new.

With, of course, a super-wide 48-inch screen stretched from door to door. A disturbing trend that started in China just a few years ago and is slowly invading the American Luxury SUV space. It seems no big SUV can be without it…

Even though I have never been a fan of the big Navigator, I have to admit the 2025 model is much cleaner. Even with its huge grille. At least a lot of the super cheezy chrome is gone.

However, I am not sure the interior is such an upgrade. It is also a bit cleaner but maybe not as luxurious looking. And that super widescreen just screams “wannabe Cadillac” to me. Which solidifies the Lincoln Navigator’s position as an eternal follower. It always reminded me of the Lincoln Versailles compared to the Cadillac Seville.

Prices for the 2025 Lincoln Navigator are rumored to start at just under $100,000. Which could be a big step up from the current $85,300 base price. While the current Escalade starts at $84,000. However, I haven’t heard of such a giant price bump for the 2025 model year…

  1. With the exception of the horizontal slats across the bottom, the face of the Navigator is vastly improved. The rest of it looks like a big brown refrigerator from a 1970s kitchen.

  2. Lincoln/Ford had the coast-to-coast screen in their products first in China. So, if anything, Cadillac interiors scream Ford/Lincoln.
