Infiniti EV SUV.

The 2 new illustrations above show what Japanese media calls a new Nissan Skyline SUV.
However, they do remind me a lot of 2 concepts previously shown under the Infiniti brand in the US. The SUV concept was the QX Inspiration Concept we saw last year. While the front end of the illustrations is obviously inspired by the Vision Qe concept sedan.
Both concepts tried to preview upcoming new Infiniti EVs. Nissan and Infiniti have been teasing us for years with EV concepts but we haven’t seen anything yet. Next in line seems to be an all-new Nissan Leaf, which was previewed by the Chill-Out concept.
Earlier this year, Nissan reported they had delayed yet again US production of their upcoming EVs. These 2 new models will indeed be built in Mississipi, starting in November 2026, instead of late 2025. The first model will be a new Nissan EV sedan replacing the Maxima. The Infiniti EV model will start production in April 2027.
The illustration above could show the model that will be sold under the Infiniti brand in the US and as a Nissan Skyline SUV in Japan.
At least Nissan has an all-new Murano just coming out. The Ariya is finally getting pretty popular. And their brand new Leaf is on its way. Things are not as rosy for Infiniti. Its best-seller is the QX60, which just sold under 30,000 units last year. Not great news.
Especially when your next new model is still over 2 years away.
