2026 Toyota Sienna.

These illustrations from Japan supposedly show a new-generation Toyota Sienna Minivan. Let’s hope not…
These ridiculous images just seem like a clumsy-looking version of the current model with a Crown Signia front end. And inside, again, the current version with a revised dashboard that makes it look a bit more like the Signia. The whole thing is just a bit off.
The current Sienna came out in late 2020 and could easily be in production for another year or two… I guess Toyota could design a more extensive facelift and indeed redesign the Sienna’s front end to look a bit more like the Crown Sigina. Something they did with the 2025 Camry.
The current Sienna came out as a hybrid-only model, which was quite a big deal in 2020. Since, the 2025 Camry is also a hybrid-only model. As well as others, like the Toyota Crown and the new Toyota Land Cruiser. And I think it will be the case with the new 2026 Toyota RAV-4.
But in 2 or 3 years, Toyota will be pushing their new EVs as well. I think the next Sienna could push the envelope once more and be a PHEV-only model by that time. An improved PHEV from Toyota could get over 50 miles of EV-only range, which could still be a smart choice for many families. And could keep the Sienna going until Toyota is ready for an all-new electric Minivan.
They won’t be the only ones since Chrysler is also planning an EV version of the Pacifica minivan. One that will be coming after a revised design for the PHEV. If the brand still exists by then…
