2027 Toyota Sienna.

This illustration shows what a new-generation Sienna Minivan could look like. Let’s hope Toyota does better…
The current Sienna came out in late 2020 and could easily be in production for another year or two. Toyota could come up with a more extensive facelift and redesign the Sienna’s front end to look a bit more like the Crown Sigina. or the 2026 RAV-4. Which is pretty much what they did with the 2025 Camry.
The current Sienna came out as a hybrid-only model, which was quite a big deal in 2020. Since, the 2025 Camry has also become a hybrid-only model. As well as others, like the Crown and the new Land Cruiser. It could also be the case with the upcoming new 2026 Toyota RAV-4.
However, in 2 or 3 years, Toyota will be pushing their new EVs as well. I think the next Sienna could push its envelope once more and be a PHEV-only model by that time. An improved PHEV from Toyota could get over 50 miles of EV-only range, which could still be a smart choice for many families. And could keep the Sienna going until Toyota is ready for an all-new electric Minivan.
They won’t be the only ones since Chrysler is also planning an EV version of the Pacifica minivan. One that will be coming after a revised design for the PHEV.
If the brand still exists by then.
