What do you drive?

Last Updated:

I used to do this almost every year, but haven’t done it for a while… Just asking all readers of this site “What do you drive?”. Many readers comment on various articles published here, and it is quite interesting to know what people are actually driving.

Many of you are reading this from outside the US and drive cars that are not available over here as well. Which is also very interesting.

It is quite easy to figure out where readers come from, what country, city. And even average age. But there is of course nothing about what they drive.

So just share what car you are driving these days, as well as what were your previous cars.

  1. Still driving a 2014 Sonata, Somehow on its original motor. After adding Android Auto I think I can hold off on a new car purchase for awhile. My partner bought a mid level Kona last year and we’ve been quite happy with it.

  2. Still driving a 2007 Infiniti G35s sedan, in 2 months it’ll be 18 years old. Still running great. I need an advice, I’m in Los Angeles, I’m searching for a new compact SUV with hydraulic steering but can’t find one, cars nowadays have very light steering feel, I bought my dad a Mazda CX5 Signature, it’s steering is still too light. Pls help.

  3. I am fortunate to have got my dream car this past year, a 2024 Volvo V90 Cross Country. I plan on driving it for as long as I can! Before that I drove a 2018 Honda Civic. (Nova Scotia, Canada)

  4. 2025 Dongfeng Nammi (Curacao)
Previous cars include: Renault Captur; Fiat 500e; Volvo C90; Dodge Dakota; Volvo 960; Mitsubishi L200; BMW 325 TDS; Jeep Wrangler.

  5. 2007 Nissan 350Z Convertible, 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STi Hatch, 2019 Hyundai Elantra Sport and 2023 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road.

  6. 2012 Honda Civic, 2011 Honda CRV, 2018 Honda CRV. Just sold my garage queen 95 Acura Integra 2dr to my service tech.

  7. 2024 BMW X3. Drives like a dream and I love it. Now, it’s a lease and when I’m done with the lease I’ll be switching to an SUV from a non luxury brand. Nothing wrong with the car but I guess that priorities change and I know I could be paying the same or less for a car that offers me the same or more.

  8. I’ll tell you, if you promise not to post Chevy Maverick-fighter or EV compact truck renderings – 4.3 S10.

  9. Currently driving Lexus ES350, 130K miles no issues. Prior cars: 2011 Chevy Camaro convertible, 2008 Mercedes C300, 2003 Nissan Murano, 2001 Honda Accord, 1995 Nissan Maxima

  10. Last 4 cars:
    2021 Volvo V90R
    2017 Jaguar F-Type (Manual Transmission)
    2011 Saab 9-5 (Manual Transmission)

  11. 2019 Jeep Wrangler
    2019 Buick Tourx
2005 Volvo v50 T5 – bought new still going strong
    1991 SAAB 900SE – I’ve had this one since 1999

  12. 2017 Lexus LX570
    2010 Volvo C30

I’m tempting to get the X7 but car prices are just crazy now. Not sure I want to be making those kinds of payments.

  13. 2021 Subaru Ascent
    2007 Mazda6

Looking to buy a 2025 Ioniq 5 and pass the Mazda to a teen driver.

  14. Last year of the fantastic Ford Fiesta ST (2019). I’ve had MB, BMW, Acura, MINI – but the little Fiesta is by far the most trouble free (and fun) vehicle I’ve ever owned.

  15. 2016 3 Series wagon with just 59K on the clock. Retired now and don’t drive as much. Very fun to drive and functional. So if I can afford the maintenance and that’s still cheaper than a new car, I’ll have this for quite a few more years.

  16. Interesting to see so many other Volvo owners on the site! Hello 🙂

    I currently drive a 2019 Volvo V90 Cross Country T6 AWD
    Used to drive a 2015.5 Volvo V60 T5 AWD
    Before that, a 2011 Volvo S40 T5 FWD
    Before that, a 2007 Volvo V50 T5 AWD

Clearly Volvos have done well for me lol. I live in Canada and, with their Swedish heritage, handle the snow a lot better than other cars I’ve previously owned (Acura, Honda, Ford, Mazda, Chevrolet). They also seem to be extremely resistant to rusting (unlike Mazda!)

I really miss the sound of the inline 5 cylinder engine, but there’s no denying that the T6 simply performs better and is more economical.

Love the site Vince! What do you drive btw?

  17. I drive a 2011 BMW 335i M-Sport convertible. Except for breaking all the time and being exorbitantly expensive to fix, it’s kind of the perfect car.
My wife has a 2022 Audi Q3. She’s very stylish and ordered a color and options that generate lots of compliments. Not remotely as fun to drive as my car but it has a hitch for a rack for my mountain bike so if you factor in a good trail ride it’s a pretty equivalent experience.

  18. I love my 2019 Mustang Bullitt!
Also have a 2021 Mazda CX-5 Turbo CE which is great too, no complaints!
