2026 Jeep Cherokee.

These are new photos of the all-new Jeep Cherokee for 2026, inside and out.

The all-new model is based on the Stellantis STLA large platform, just like the Jeep Wagoneer S EV. Besides the new design and interior, the big news for the new Cherokee is the equally new Stellantis powertrain. Which is a 1.6 Liter Turbo Hybrid f or for 37MPG average. Which is the same MPG as the AWD version of the Honda CR-V Hybrid. (The Cherokee has standard AWD.) The new Hybrid system includes 2 electric motors for a total of 210HP. Standard on all trims are:

  • A 10.25-inch full-color digital instrument cluster
  • A 12.3-inch infotainment screen equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability
  • The Jeep brand’s award-winning Uconnect 5 infotainment system
  • Passive entry system
  • Rain-sensing wipers
  • Automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist identification
  • Intersection Collision Assist
  • Blind-spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path detection
  • Drowsy Driver Detection
  • Active Driving Assist system (Level 2 driver-assistance system with adaptive cruise control)
  • Rear park assist with rear automatic emergency braking

While options include:

  • Dual-pane sunroof
  • Foot-activated power liftgate with adjustable height
  • 360-degree camera
  • Digital rearview mirror
  • Heated rear seats
  • Ventilated front seats
  • Windshield wiper de-icer
  • Front tire-to-curb view
  • Turn signal-activated blind spot
  • Premium audio
  • Alexa in-vehicle assistant

Pricing starts at $37,000. $40,000 for the Laredo trim. With Limited and Overland trims priced at $42,500 and $46,000.

This all sounds pretty expensive, until you compare it to the competition, like the Honda C-RV Hybrid. Which starts at $38,500 with AWD. The Sports Touring Hybrid is $43,700.

While it’s not such a super modern or stunning design, it does look like a modern Jeep. And the interior seems way nicer than most of its competition.

  1. weird proportion shown in the second picture (almost full profile angle). lots of front overhang and fairly large front end. The rear looks super generic, almost Honda-like instead of something more unique or, at least, drawing from their legacy cherokee I would have made vertical tail lights

  2. It’s overpriced! Steallantis is at it again pricing Jeep like it’s a luxury product. There are lots of reasons Jeep sales are tanking and overpricing their products is a top one.
