Could this help Chrysler ?

Chrysler is in trouble and has been for years. The illustration above shows what a crazy idea for the revival of the old brand could look like. In the form os a very luxurious new Chrysler Imperial Convertible.
The new Dodge Charger proves that the STLA platform can produce a very good-looking new large American coupe. It doesn’t appear that hard to engender it to accommodate a more luxurious, larger two-door convertible. Something the Chrysler brand could be proud of. Instead of just a minivan. A car like this would get Chrysler noticed again. Instead of advertising their history, they could finally talk about something new and unique.
Of course, the” large 2-door luxury convertible” market isn’t the most popular segment these days. And yet, this could help put the brand back on the map. While other, more affordable models are being developed. Like a few SUVs and maybe even a sedan. As well as a new Minivan. Finally…
Chrysler has been talking about a few new products in the past year or so, but its statements have always been very vague. And sometimes even contradictory. Stelantis needs to be bold and daring if it really wants Chrysler to survive.
While the original Imperial was introduced in 1926, almost no one remembers it. Except maybe a few old movie fans watching James Cagney flicks from the 1930s. Imperial became its own brand in 1955 until 1983. However, production of the convertible body style ended in 1968.
It would be crazy to bring it back. And that could just be what Chrysler needs.
