2018 Porsche Cayenne
Last Updated:
No surprises here, since this is the same car as this picture I posted a couple of days back.
A nice looking SUV. Although not that “new looking” when compared to the current model.
Interior design is a bit blocky, and not as impressive and upscale as the new Panamera. At all…
The current one starts at around $60 000 in the US.
I think for that price, the interior is a bit of a let down. (it usually ends up being much, much more with options)
It is often referred to as one of the best selling Porsche model. They sold about 16 000 in the US last year. Which I guess is pretty good considering the price. And for a “small” brand.
Still…. The Tesla Model X sold over 18 000 last year.
For an even more expensive “SUV”….
I wonder how long “regular” car makers will get away with cooking up the same old recipe over and over.
"I wonder how long "regular" car makers will get away with cooking up the same old recipe over and over." As long as dumb brand loyal customers let them. Can't blame the companies.
Vince, the sheep are buying the badge. They could not care less how it looks or how it drives.
Nice looking KIA SportAge facelift….eh Vince?
This looks heavy and cumbersome – particularly due to the bulk of the lower cladding, and the sharp crease around each wheel opening….. at least the Macan still looks fun, lean and muscular. A Porsche should inspire a sense of daring and performance. This Cayenne looks like a Hyundai with Porsche headlights. It could just as easily be a new Jeely or Link & Co
Mr. Burlapp speaks the truth here – how does one of the world's best sports car companies get away with such boring fare? Where's the spark? Where's the pizazz?
Not bad! It just a conservative looking. redesign! It will sell well!
