2026 Hyundai Palisade interior.
Last Updated:
The Hyundai Palisade is being redesigned for the 2026 model year and is right around the corner.
We have seen numerous spy shots showing the exterior of the car. Displaying a much more angular design, similar to the 2024 Santa Fe. This will give a completely different personality to the large 3-row SUV.
Inside, things will be 100% different as well. As you can see, everything will actually be a bit softer and smoother looking, compared to the recurrent generation. The current palisade received a few changes to its interior a few years ago. But the new one has a completely different vibe. At first, it seems it might clash against the newly very angular exterior design, but who knows? Maybe it’ll work. Unless the Palisade turns into a strange automotive version of Jekyll and Hyde.
It was first thought the new Palisade and its cousin the Kia Telluride would use the same platform as the current models. Now it seems a new platform might be used. Or at least something heavily revised from the current one that will allow for a longer wheelbase.
Engines will be new with a 3.5 Liter Turbo V6 replacing the current 3.8 Liter V6. And an all-new 2.5 Liter Hybrid version will be available as well.
The Palisade has been a hit for Hyundai since it came out. Things are not slowing down and it even had its best year in 2023 with over 89,000 of them sold in the US.
A $36,500 base price has probably a lot to do with its success. In comparison, the most basic Toyota Grand Highlander starts at over $43,000. The Honda Pilot starts at $43,000. The Mazda CX-90 starts at around $40,000.
Even the new Chevrolet Traverse is higher at over $41,000.
If Hyundai can keep the price close to the current model, the next-generation Palisade will be more popular than ever.
