2026 Nissan Leaf.

Today, we finally get to see a lot more of the all-new Nissan Leaf EV for 2026.
As predicted, it looks a lot like the 2021 Nissan Chillout concept, which is a good thing. However, I think it looks even better than the concept. At least so far.
The front end is very clean and attractive, and the whole thing looks 100 times better than the aging current Leaf.
The new-generation Nissan Leaf is based on the CMF-EV Platform already used by the Nissan Ariya. For the first time, the new Leaf will be available with 19-inch wheels and a panoramic moonroof.
In the US, the 2026 Leaf will come standard with a new NACS charging port. Allowing it to use the Tesla charging network.
Nissan expects the new Leaf to get around 375 miles of range in the European test cycle. Which could still be over 320 miles in the US. And that would be a huge improvement over the current model. And really make the Leaf a great new entry in the affordable EV market.
The all-new Nissan Leaf will be available in the US and Canada later this year.
It will soon compete with the Kia EV3 and the next-generation Chevrolet Bolt in the US.
I wish Nissan had kept this as a wagon style (long roof/vertical hatchback) vehicle. Not everything has to have the dysfunction of coupe styling. But unfortunately, this got it.
