2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6.

Last Updated:

Just like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Kia EV6, the Ioniq 6 sedan is getting a few changes. These will soon appear for the 2026 model year.

The most obvious one is the totally redesigned front end, which gives the car a different personality. It seems even more futuristic than before, but also a bit more aggressive.

The rear end has also been reworked. The “strange but cool” vertical lines aren’t there anymore. And that second spoiler below the rear window is also gone. It seems the lower spoiler is now a bit larger. From a 3/4 view, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 looks more like an insect or a turtle now. However, that is a cleaner look. And thank God it still looks original and pretty weird.

Inside, things seem to be the same at first. At least they kept the screen instead of replacing it with that new generic unit they use on everything else these days. The steering wheel seems new, and the console has been redesigned as well. Many reviewers had complained about cheaper materials inside, and that might have been addressed.

A new N-Line is now available, with a proper N model coming out later.

Currently, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 starts at under $40,000. Which will probably change for the worse with the new US tariffs.

  1. Ugly ass car is still….. surprise, surprise… an ugly ass car. Sure, its an improvement, but it is still one of the absolutely worst designed cars ever.
