Why don’t you join me and discover the new Citroen eC3 EV. It sure looks pretty ugly, but at least it’s cheap with a version starting at around 20,000 Euros.
The new Citroen will be one of the cheapest EVs sold in Europe and will be competing mostly with inexpensive models from China, which are becoming increasingly popular on the old continent.
The video shows the eC3 inside and out. I must say, the interior looks much better, especially for the price. This is no DS or SM, but for many, it might just be what they need.
The US does need a cheap EV too. Although we’ll never see the small Citroen EV over here, GM has been talking about a next-generation Chevrolet Bolt using cheaper batteries. That means it could even be cheaper than the current $ 26,000 model. Good news, unless GM decides to delay the program. Which is something they love doing with tier EVs. As the Chevrolet Silverado EV and Equinox EV have been recently delayed…
