2025 Dodge Charger.

Last Updated:

These new photos of the upcoming 2025 Dodge Charger (or will it be Challenger?) are actually from Dodge. I guess they like that “grainy fake spy shot” look to promote their future models.

We’ve all seen the Dodge Charger Daytona concept from 2022 and the production model seems very close. Which is great as I can tell you the concept looks very impressive in person. Of course, some things have changed on the way to production but I am sure there’s still enough of that great design left to make the new Charfger a fantastic-looking car.

The caption provided by Dodge only reads:

“No cameras or recording devices permitted. 📵 The pre-production model is shown. Available late 2024.”

That means we could see the real thing very soon. While Dodge has already spoken about all the various EV powertrains available in the new Charger, there have been more recent rumors of an ICE version also being available. The base EV models will have from 455 HP to 670HP. There is also a newer rumor mentioning almost 900 HP for the top model. Which is just crazy. Dodge has not answered questions about a possible ICE version powered by Stllantis’s inline-cylinder engine.

seeing the production model so close to the concept is great news. And also quite an event for the Dodge brand which has been almost dead for years due to Sergio Marchionne’s handy work. Separating the trucks into their own brand was just the first step to starve Dodge of anything that sells. Fortunately, the new management was able to offer an Alfa Romeo clone as a new Dodge. This is of course a strange choice, but hopefully just a stopgap until more Dodge models with their own designs come out. My new STLA base sedan and Durango would do a lot of good.

  1. Now I know they won’t just be selling coupes. That wouldn’t be a smart move in today’s market. I’m wondering if Charger will be the sedan and Charger Daytona will be the coupe.

  2. Why would you stray so far away from the concept car that you showed everyone? The mirrors, rims, headlights and interior are all changed, and for the worst. No thank you, I’ll pass.

  3. Noooooo I was take the original 2019 dodge charger hellcat I’d rather be the only one driving a non electric car
