2025 Ford Mustang Mach-e
Last Updated:
The Ford Mustang Mach-E started production in 2021. Although we had seen it before. I first saw it myself at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2019 and was very impressed.
Since then, the Mustang Mach-e has gathered many really good reviews and sales keep going up with 40 771 sold in 2023. Although it was only about 1200 more than the previous year. Things are already changing in 2024 with sales up 77% in the first quarter of 2024 compared to last year. This is mostly due to price cuts Ford made last February. Nothing as drastic as the almost $ 20,000 cut Tesla made on the Model Y over a year ago. Ford’sprice cut up to around $8100 off the Mach-e MSRP.
However, it looks like it still jump-started the Mustang Mach-e sales. The Mach-e prices now almost match the Tesla Model Y.
Ford made a few changes to the Mach-e for the 2024 model year. Details like some new colors and a new ghastly Bronze package option. (The GT did get a few more things). But the photo above seems to show that a few more changes are in store, maybe for the 2025 model year. I am not a Mustang Mach-e expert and I can’t really see anything new besides maybe some changes to the headlights…
As far as we know, this was the Mach-e production schedule last year. Which shows an end of production for the current generation in June 2026. With a 2nd generation, available in 2 body styles, starting a month later as a 2027 model. A refresh for the 2025 model year would then make sense.
For now, it looks like the Mustang Mach-e will have its best year in 2024, by far.

With sales and profitability still not happening for US EV’s, not including Tesla, I would imagine major updates are not going to happen. But they still feel that have to change something to call it the new version, even if 98% of it is the same.
1st photo looks like a pre-2024 Mach E body. Maybe they’re testing new tech on the same chassis.
