The Toyota 4 Runner has always looked like Toyota’s compact truck. For this generation, it seems Toyota just turned the new 4Runner into a straight SUV version of the Tacoma pickup introduced last year.
It also looks more and more like a Casio G-Shock watch in my opinion. Not a very clean or tasteful design. It seems far behind the new Land Cruiser. However, the 4Runner fans will probably not be disappointed at all. If only for the fact they waited so long for a new one.
Powertrain choices should be the same as the Tacoma. As far as pricing, this has better be a lot cheaper than the really cool-looking Land Cruiser which starts at a bit over $ 55,000.
The current base model already starts at over $40,000.
