Kia seems to be in an obsessive hurry to redesign all their current models’ front ends to resemble, more or less, the EV9. It has to be done as soon as possible.
It actually works pretty well most of the time. I think it does look pretty good on the new Sorento. Now, it is the Sportage‘s turn to go under the knife. The illustration above shows what the new front end could look like, which is of course not as original as the current one, but also maybe not so weird.
Just like the Sorento, powertrains will probably be the same as the ones used in the current version. The interior could be cleaned up a little bit but otherwise remains pretty much the same, which will be just fine.
