Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz.

And why not…

In a world where Cadillac is getting ready to sell the new Cadillac Celestiq, a $350,000 4-door hatchback EV, why not dream of another land yacht, a new Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz?

And yes, to fit into Cadillac’s current state of mind (and the automotive world’s future in general) this would be an EV based on GM’s Ultium platform. Just like the Celestiq, but also the upcoming Escalade IQ, Vistiq, and Optiq.

Historically, the Biarritz was the most expensive version of the Cadillac Eldorado coupe. Until 1991, which was the last year Cadillac offered the Biarritz luxury package.

For a Biarritz to be reborn, we would of course need an all-new large Cadillac Coupe called Eldorado to begin with. And why not? Yes I know, most current humans on Earth have never heard of an Eldorado. But most bipeds have also never heard of an Acura Integra either. Or a Vistiq for that matter.

A cool name is always a cool name. Cadillac is one of these legendary brands that really should dig into their past. Their new cars can be modern, and even futuristic, and still be objects of desire to many.

Is anyone around hee actually dreaming about the new Cadillac Celestiq?

  1. Vince – Thanks, but how come you’re always featuring illustrations and news about vehicles that have almost zero chance of ever being produced? They are really just wishful thinking (for the most part).

  2. At this point, why not? I couldn’t imagine the Celestiq being more popular than this

  3. You guys are constantly yanking our chains and, it’s getting irritating ! This is NOT a Cadillac Eldorado concept. This is the Cadillac Ciel concept that made it’s debut at Pebble Beach at the Concours D’Elegance, at least ten years ago. If the car hasn’t gone into production by this point, it never will ! Come up with some actual new news and stop jerkingbus around with fake stories !!!

  4. Why not a newer Barritz with always the Eldorado in which for luxury was the ride around its time until engineering and manufacturing and costs to produce and competing with muscle cars hurt them, Cadi should with GMC should revive this type of newer aged car. At least a limited number manufactured about 1500 when announcing to the public in mind, with features that won’t hurt the low to middle class pocket trying to buy while those who do have it wouldn’t set back too much either bit still with the class and best of Cadillac has too offer. Engine packages with horse power but still best when cruising as a 8cylinder, convertible, wheels (rims), and brakes, and rotors with optional appearance and under the hood like air suspension or the other types that are out there, but still luxury.

  5. Y do U show dreamer cars that the average person can’t afford? Nobody is gonna pay $350,000 4 a Cadillac. It’s GM junk after all.

  6. Ridiculous what Cadillac has become. Thanks to ( DEI) In the design and engineering dept. Cadillac has lost the king of the road masculinity of the best personal luxury car in the USA 🇺🇸
