Kia K4 pricing.

Last Updated:

The new 2025 Kia K4 sedan replaces the good old Kia Forte and of course, it costs a bit more.

But at $22,000 to start, the K4 is still a very affordable and now super stylish proposition. With 38 inches of rear legroom, it’s even roomier than the Honda Civic. Even at a more expensive price than the Forte, the new Kia K4 is still one of the most affordable sedans in the US.

Compared to its competition, it is over $2000 cheaper than the Honda Civic. At least when comparing base models.

The main problem with the new K4 is the total lack of any hybrid option, which I think will hurt sales. Unless you are looking for a cheap $22,000 base model, a price where a hybrid isn’t expected. But at almost $30,000, the 190HP of the Turbo engine is really left behind the new Civic Hybrid, which has both more power and uses far less gas.

No pricing yet on the really cool hatchback version of the new K4, but it will probably be a little more expensive. This is really too bad since a Hybrid K4 hatchback Hybrid would have been such great competition against the new 2025 Civic Hybrid

  1. Hyundai / Kia has been a hit with their cutting-edge styling and design. Sadly, this car is not one of their best efforts. It is grotesque and really ugly.

  2. This is what keeps me from buying Korean cars, the hybrids are never guaranteed here in Australia. I would not buy a brand new car if not a hybrid or EV, getting stuck in city peak hour traffic can really hurt your wallet. I also frequently do 10+ hour drives from state to state.
