How about a Chrysler Cordoba for 2027?

Or 2028? Or even 2029?
Stellantis seems to have a lot of very vague future plans for the Chrysler brand. And keeps claiming the old brand is not dead yet.
So far, an early plan for a new EV SUV related to the Jeep Wagoneer S to come out sometime this year. There are also talks about a heavy refresh of the Chrysler Pacifica, as well as an all-new EV Minivan based on the STLA platform. If the brand can stay alive that long. So far, we have only seen prototypes of a revised Pacifica Minivan. One with a redesigned front end inspired by the Halcyion concept car. Which sounds like a weird combo…
At least, there seems to be a plan, in a drawer somewhere. Which is quite different from the old dark Margionne days when the brand was starved of anything new.
What would really be nice, and a pretty crazy idea, would be a new large coupe. One that could easily be based on the new 2025 Dodge Charger. A more traditional and luxurious take on a modern, large EV/Hybrid coupe.
The new 2025 Dodge Charger is a true comeback of the big American coupe. Like we had in the 1970s. It is not only longer than the Challenger it replaces, but it is about the size of a Mercedes S-Class! At over 206 inches long, it is about the same size as the 1968 model.
A new Chrysler coupe should, of course, be called a “Cordoba“. Just for the fun of it. While the original 1st generation Cordoba from the late 1970s was longer than the new Charger at 215 inches, the shorter 2nd generation was pretty close. At around 2010 inches.
A large, luxurious 2-door Chrysler could be around the corner if Stelantis really wanted to. Of course, there isn’t much of a market these days for a car like this. Large luxury 2-door cars are all but extinct these days.
