2025 Lexus UX.
Last Updated:
Lexus has slightly updated the UX Crossover for the 2025 model year.
As you can see, those of us hoping for a more modern and subtle front grille will be disappointed. The new design they use on the Lexus RX would have been great, but no. Which is really too bad.
Inside, the screen is, as usual, bigger, with a new 12.3 unit the Premium and F-Sport models. And it now looks too big for the small Lexus interior, and almost ridiculous. It also doesn’t fit in the dashboard as well as before. The shifter is now from the 2023 Prius.
Speaking of the Prius, the main change in the 2025 UX is the powertrain, which is now the same as in the 2023 Prius. That means a power boost of up to 196HP.
A shared powertrain with the Prius, a bigger screen, and not much else probably means an all-new generation could be on its way after 2025. We’ll have to see and maybe do some guessing work soon…
Info and pricing on the 2025 Lexus UX will be available shortly after the new year, with sales starting soon after.
I had a Hybrid UX for 3 years. It was a fun little car to drive, averaged 44mpg. Quiet and smooth, but acceleration was pretty bad. Ended up trading it in for a PHEV. If they had a PHEV of the UX, it would’ve been nice.
The screen isn’t new – it debuted in the 2023 model. Inside, it’s just the shifter that is new along with a larger digital gauge screen
