This is just a quick end-of-the-year recap of a few illustrations I previously posted, showing possible future Chevrolet Corvette models.
The rumors of a possible Corvette Sub-brand started late last year. Mentioning a possible new Corvette SUV model as well as a Corvette 4-door sedan both based on GM’s Ultium EV platform. Since then, everyone and their cousins have tried to guess what a possible 4-door “coupe” Corvette or a sleek sporty SUV could look like. These are just a few out of many.
I am sure GM is actually working on a way to cash in on the Corvette name. Since a sporty sedan and SUV did very well for Porsche a few years ago, why not the Corvette? What used to be referred to as blasphemy is now seen as normal. I don’t see anyone complaining about the Porsche Panamera or Cayenne anymore.
Even Ferrari now has a 4-door raised hatchback that looks like an overgrown $400 000 MaazdaCX-3, called the Purosangue.
Bentley, Aston Martin, and even Rolls Royce all do it. Let’s just hope the see upcoming new Corvette body styles look really good…
