Mercedes EQC sedan.

Mercedes is supposedly getting ready to launch a smaller EV sedan called the EQC sedan.
It was first mentioned when the EQS came out. Then again when the smaller EQE was released. We also saw a bunch of spy shots. So far it looks like it would be competing with the upcoming and much sleeker new CLA EV. I guess the EQC sedan could be a little bit roomier and of course more expensive.
I’m not sure Mercedes really needs 2 new EV sedans of around the same size. It’s not like their EVs have been that popular, to begin with.
Also, let’s hope the real thing looks a lot better than the illustration above since it looks worse than a Honda Civic sedan and really not as premium as a Mercedes should be…
Based on the actual spy shots from other sites and Mercedes’ own announcements regarding the EQ program, all future EV models will be named “XX-Class with EQ Technology” starting with the G-Class (instead of EQG). So there will be no sedan named EQC, and the next EQC SUV will probably become the “GLC with EQ Technology”. Also, the C EV spy shots show a vehicle with a much more traditional three-box shape than the EQE/EQS, which may indicate that the C EV will share a platform (and likely most body panels) with the regular next-gen C sedan.
