2025 Subaru Forester.
Last Updated:
Earlier this month, I posted early photos of the new 2025 Subaru Forester and was shocked at how bad it looks. I have since experienced it in person and all I have to say is that it’s really not that bad. These are official photos from Subaru I had forgotten to post.
Sure, there is no excuse for a grille design like this on a 2025 model-year vehicle. And the gold wheels and trim bits on the Sport version (not sure if they are standard or not) should never even exist. Why on earth is gold considered “Sporty”???
Otherwise, the whole thing looks pretty decent in real life, if a bit dull. But it’s not as offensive as previously thought.
The best aspect of the new 2025 Subaru Forester is its interior. It is a really nice place to be and most materials seem of excellent quality. Even the all-black model isn’t all that bad. But the brown and black combo really shines and feels much more special. These photos are probably of the top-of-the-line Touring version. The new Forester comes in Base, Premium, Sport, Limited and Touring versions. I have to say, naming your almost base model “Premium” is just confusing and witless.
Current Subaru owners are all used to oversized ugly grilles and they probably won’t mind it this time either. They also don’t seem to want anything that stands out in a crowd and the new Forester will fit the bill perfectly.
Its interior is a big step up from the recurrent version, and also much nicer than some of its competition like the Honda CR-V or Toyota RAV-4.
A hybrid version with an “all-Toyota” powertrain is coming a few months after the launch of the gas models next spring.
Good lord! No more tablets, please.
My bet is the grill is black so in a couple of years when they do a mid cycle update, they’ll chrome or plastic brush aluminum it. I think that’s why the Accord also has the black grill.
“Isn’t it better than before?”
I love the New Update on the 2025 Subaru Forester would love the wheels all black and the
Exterior and Interior looks great love ❤️ all the upgrades.
