2025 Kia Telluride.
Last Updated:
With all the recent talk and spy shots of the 2025 Hyundai Palisade, it is maybe time to mention, again, the next-generation Kia Telluride. Since a new Palisade is around the corner, a new Telluride won’t be far behind. Let’s look at some of the ugliest and least realistic illustrations around the web.
The first one seems like a complete guess, which is fine since we haven’t seen any spy shots of the next Telluride yet. But it also ignores every current Kia design trend and comes up with something that could be from any other brand in the world.
The next 3 just look like cartoonish versions of the recurrent model. Although the number 4 seems a bit more realistic, it’s not that different from the first generation.
Same thing with the number 5, which seems to be an evolution of the current telluride. Something that could still happen, although we already know the Hyundai Palisade will be very different from the current one.
The last illustration is just wishful thinking. Which could be seen as poetic or plain ridiculous.
I think the next Telluride might end up looking like a more refined take on the Kia EV9 design. Which to me is just too blocky, cartoony, and heavy-handed. But all recent and future Kia designs seem to be inspired by the EV9. Like the upcoming EV4, and even the new K4 sedan, which is not an EV.
With over 110,000 units sold last year, the Kia Telluride is more popular than it has ever been. And about 20,000 above the Hyundai Palisade. I can understand why Kia isn’t in a hurry to let us know anything about the next generation. All we know so far is what we already know about the 2025 Palisade. A new V6 Turbo and a 2.5 Liter Hybrid powertrain will be available.
