2025 Nissan Murano.

Nissan has been test driving prototypes of the next-generation Murano SUV for a while now, and they’ all look’ve all looked pretty much ready to go. Today we get another look at the new interior.
It seems that just like the exterior, the interior of the new Murano will look similar to the Nissan Ariya. At least from what we can tell on these early and grainy photos. The interior shots actually shows something that looks a bit more upscale than the Ariya EV. The large screen is protected by a hood and you can see stitching on top of the dashboard.
And that’s about it, really. Still no word on powertrain or anything else. There is a rumor about the next Murano ditching the super smooth 3.5 Liter V6, which would be a shame. Unless it is replaced by some new Nissan e-Forve Hybrid powertrain, which at least would be interesting.
Otherwise please keep the big old V6, just like in the Pathfinder. The 2025 Murano will also have some competition from Honda who is also coming up with a new 2025 Passport. However, in true Honda fashion, I expect the new passport to be quite predictable and not nearly as modern looking as the Murano. The next Passport is expected to keep it’s big V6.
I would very strongly consider one of these if they ditched the CVT and put the Pathfinder 3.5 and 9A in it. Side note, wish the Pathfinder came without the third row.
Honestly, if it weren’t for Nissan’s CVTs and usually much worse fuel economy for similar engine sizes, I might consider this. At least they’re not as watching-paint-dry dull as Toyota products.
