2025 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ.

Since last year’s unveiling of the new Toyota Land Cruiser, we know a new smaller model is coming soon. (probably called Land Cruiser FJ). As well as a larger EV probably based on the fantastic-looking Land Cruiser SE concept.
There has already been a lot of speculation about the smaller model. It would be great to see a cheaper new off-road-looking Toyota SUV. Something to compete with the Ford Bronco Sport, maybe. Although the Bronco Sport now starts at over $30,000. I guess that still leaves plenty of room below the Toyota 4Runner since the previous version already started at over $40,000, and who knows how much the new one will cost.
Something with an attractive design similar to the illustration above and a hybrid powertrain could be quite attractive to many. However, it seems these all-new 1.5 Liter and 2.0 Liter based Hybrid and PHEV powertrains mentioned earlier won’t be ready for another year or two. Which will probably be too late for the new SUV.
This could be fun and maybe start a trend that somehow the Bronco Sport didn’t. Maybe a new Nissan XTerra is also on its way? Or one of these new Mitsubishi models we’ve heard about could have a retro off-road flair. It seems Honda would just take way too long to come up with something like this. But how about GM?

I hope it’s better than the last FJ which was a dismal failure thirsty and underpowered and sat on dealer’s lots for almost a year before they could get rid of the last ones
