2025 Ford Bronco Sport.

Ford has revamped the Bronco Sport for the 2025 model year. And those expecting significant exterior changes to a new interior will be quite disappointed…
As you can see, the 2025 Bronco Sport looks the same as ever, at least outside. Which is just fine, since after 4 years it still looks fresh with a bit of retro feel that ages very well.
The interior has been criticized by many over the years for looking and feeling pretty cheap, and it doesn’t look like things will be different in 2025. The changes are limited to the top parts of the center console and dashboard. The screen is of course much larger and the new 13.2 unit is standard on all trims. As well as a new 12.3 digital instrument display.
While Ford‘s “co-Pilot 360 Assist +” (that’s quite a mouthful…) is standard, a 360 camera, reverse brake assist and Speed sign recognition is optional and standard on the Badlands trim.
Engines are the sesame with a 1.5 Liter Turbo as the standard powertrain, with the 2.0 Liter Turbo as an option.
The big news for 2025 is the new off-road Sasquash package. The new package is available with both engines. With manly goodies like larger 29-inch off-road tires on 17-inch wheels, an “Ultra rugged” twin-clutch rear drive unit, and a locking differential. Bilstein shocks are also included and provide a higher ride.
The Bronco Sport is a pretty popular model and even had its best year in 2023 with over 127,000 sold. Almost catching up to the more mainstream and cheaper Ford Escape with 141,000 units sold last year.
Surprise! It seems people like a fun design with personality for their small SUVs. And so far, the Ford Bronco Sport doesn’t have much competition. Something that could change very soon with the arrival of a brand new Toyota model, probably called the Compact Cruiser.
Honestly, I dont want a big screen in the center. It can have radio and the backup camera, and just enough phone integration to use Maps or similar. This is one of the reasons car prices have gotten out of control – all the s**t that is piled into them. The reason this looks cheap is because its the sister ute to the Maverick. And it shares interior parts. That truck was meant to see at a $25k pricepoint, and this was also meant to be cheaper if demand hadn’t pushed their prices higher.
The lack of driver side headliner grip is a big mistake not to have along with the lack of a power trunk. For what they’re charging its best to put it towards the new Toyota 4Runner.
