Chrysler Pacifica Future.

Last Updated:

The current Chrysler Pacifica will be getting another “refresh” before the all-new model is ready.

That revised version of the current generation will come after 2025, probably in 2026. While the current Minivan still looks good, it will be almost 10 years old by 2026. We might even see a new generation Honda Odyssey before the revised Pacifica. And a new Toyota Sienna won’t be far behind.

According to Chrysler’s CEO, they are currently concentrating their efforts on the all-new SUV that is coming next year. It will be based on the same STLA platform as the new Jeep Wagoneer S and will probably be about the same size. With its own design and interior. Bringing out an SUV first actually makes sense to revive the old Chrysler brand. Even though we saw the Halcyon sedan concept a few months ago, it seems a new sedan isn’t in the cards, at least not for a few years.

It also seems they are actively at work on a brand new minivan coming out a couple of years after the 2026 refresh. One that will also be based on the STLA platform. The CEO also mentions new Chrysler models “launching in quick succession ” after the Pacifica refresh.

This is great news for Chrysler since that means at least 3 or 4 new models for the brand within a few years. Sergio Marchionne did his best to starve Chrysler of anything new for years and it seems quite a task to restart the brand and probably quite an investment.

I am glad Stellantis is actually spending money on Chrysler. Developing an all-new model takes time and they almost have to start from scratch with Chrysler.

Good news…

The top illustration shows what the revised Pacifica for 2026 could look like. The second one shows a possible all-new generation.

  1. Ok, so… Sergio Marchionne died in 2018. Stellantis was formed in 2021. So that’s 3 years in which they could create a new model. New model count: = Zippo!
Tavares’s word means nothing. Its always ‘something different, just you wait’. Meanwhile, he’s pushing all the funds to the European brands that are flush with ICE, hybrid, PHEV and new BEV models. Chrysler two minutes later = still Zippo!

  2. Wishful thinking, all signs point to them discontinuing the entire brand after current model runs it’s course in 1-2 years.
