• New Porsche Coupe

Seems like Porsche is preparing a new 4 seater coupe based on the upcoming Panamera sedan. Why not.It would be like a modern day 928 (which still looks great by the way…)Let’s hope that, just like the 928, it looks even better than this illustration. Engines are expected to be the same as the sedan, V8s… Continue reading New Porsche Coupe

  • B Class in the US

Mercedes might finally import the small B Class in the US next year. Is there really a market here for it. Is could go well past the $30 000 mark loaded.

  • Not quite there yet…

This is a crash test of a small Chinese Chery model. Actually a bad copy of the Daewoo Matiz (which itself didn’t fare well in European tests)And these are the results of a test conducted applying European standards. I am not sure it was the actual European test. It might have been internal. But the… Continue reading Not quite there yet…

  • 2007 Suzuki SX4

Nothing all new. Although it is still not for sale in the US.But I can’t wait to actually see one. It looks really good on pictures. And the whole package seems nice.$15 000 to $18 000, 143hp, 24 mpg city etc… Could be a more fun alternative to a Civic or a Corolla.

  • New VW

The Phaeton failed. For so many reasons… So instead of going after the S Class VW thinks it can go against the R Class. Which is not a big success in the first place anyway. Is there an end to the madness over there???Even the Passat V6 is too expensive for a VW.And the Touareg… Continue reading New VW

  • 2007 Citroen Picasso

After the toy (last week) here is the real thing. Seems nice, but not as original as the first one was when it came out. This one could have another front end and be labeled something else.

  • 2007 GMC Silverado

Seems like they have 2 completely different interiors depending on which version you get.The more expensive ones get the Tahoe interior… Is that really cost efficient for GM???

  • Toyota Estima Hybrid

Similar engine to the Camry Hybrid. So mpg should still be over 30.I think the US market would eat this up. Am I wrong?

  • 2007 Chevrolet Silverado

Nothing unexpected, but that’s pretty much what the market wants. The front bumper design makes it look like it is sagging. Like an overloaded shelf, weird… And I think the interior is better looking in the Ford F150.. But who am I really… This will sell better than any car we discuss on this site, no… Continue reading 2007 Chevrolet Silverado

  • 2007 Pontiac G5

Sedan???I knew they were turning the Cobalt coupe into a small Pontiac, but I had never heard of the sedan.. But here it is, among the official Pontiac line up for the US.
