2015 Chevrolet Tahoe/GMC Yukon
I remember a quote from GM last year telling us how, this time, the Chevy and GMC we going to be much more different from each other. Well…. I don’t see it. They are again the same cars with different front ends. Which is pretty sad, Which also means that, again, the Escalade will just… Continue reading 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe/GMC Yukon

Opel Adam coming to the US after all???
As a tiny Buick? At least that is what some GM execs are talking about, during the Frankfurt auto show. They are at least “considering it”. The Adam is the smallest Opel model, and it competes with the Fiat 500 and Mini Cooper in Europe. It would start at about the same price as the… Continue reading Opel Adam coming to the US after all???

Mercedes S-Class Coupe Concept
Amazing. This is exactly what a Mercedes should be. Something you dream about. Let’s just hope the production model doesn’t get to watered down. From the spy pics we’ve seen, you can already tell the glass top has been replaced by a regular smallish/old fashion sunroof…

2014 Nissan Rogue
Now looking like a small Pathfinder. Which might not be good news for the Pathfinder. Since the Rogue is now larger and offers a 3rd row seat as an option. Plus, the Pathfinder, with its sea of hard plastics inside, is hardly upscale. This couldn’t be much worse. Just a bit smaller and a lot… Continue reading 2014 Nissan Rogue

Mercedes S-Class Coupe Concept
I actually can’t wait for this car. Again, too bad they call it a concept. This should be quite stunning, and let’s hope the production versions ends up really close. The GLA didn’t lose much from Concept to production, so there is hope.

Even more pictures of the Jaguar C-X17 Concept
I think this might turn out to look much better in real life. Sportier with a stronger presence than on the pictures. They also picked a horrible color on top of things… The chrome trim around the window is there, it’s just painted black on the concept. I think the car will look much better… Continue reading Even more pictures of the Jaguar C-X17 Concept

All new 2014 Nissan Rogue
This is the European version, which looks like it will be introduced at the Frankfurt Auto Show this week. Our next generation Rogue will be the same car. Although I don’t think we will be getting the “seven seat option” shown on the top picture. It would be really nice to get the Panoramic Sunroof… Continue reading All new 2014 Nissan Rogue

Infiniti Q30 Concept
This looks really nice. Modern and quite original. Let’s hope the production version isn’t changed too much. Inside too. The only thing they need to get rid of is the horrible gold color for the interior trim. Who told anyone that gold trim and purple lighting looked good together??? Don’t they have a bunch of… Continue reading Infiniti Q30 Concept

All new Audi A3 Convertible Video
This time the car is red. And not looking much better at all. Still boring. I saw in person the Golf Cabrio, which is still based on the Golf VI, and I think it looks better and more modern that this. We’ll see…

More pictures of the Jaguar C-X17 Concept
It actually seems OK now. Or maybe I am just getting used to the lack of originality. In a good color, and with the chrome line surrounding the windows, it might be just fine. One thing that needs to really change is the interior. As of now, nothing inside says “Jaguar” or even “luxury”.

VW Golf Sportsvan “Concept”.
“Concept”??? I have no idea why this is labeled a Concept. As I don’t see anything that couldn’t make it into production. That’s a weird one. As a matter of fact, I think it looks like it came out 10 years ago. There is nothing really modern about this. Unlike the cool sketch they released… Continue reading VW Golf Sportsvan “Concept”.

More pictures of the Audi A3 convertible
The more pictures I see of it, the less I like it. And I do love convertibles. It is hard to tell we are in 2013 when you see things like this. I am sure it will look better without the horrible side skirts and that tasteless color. But still. Where is the style? The… Continue reading More pictures of the Audi A3 convertible

Renault Initiale Concept
This looks like a great re-invention of the minivan. Renault has been working on a replacement for their Espace model. And this concept gives us an idea of what they are thinking of. It is not the 1st time Renault comes up with something pretty futuristic. But this time it does look quite upscale and… Continue reading Renault Initiale Concept

Another picture of the Jaguar CX-17 Concept
Actually pretty boring. If you take out the Jaguar grille, it could be anything. I am sure the production version would have chrome instead of black trim. Which will help for a Jaguar. Otherwise it could be quite popular against the Lexus RX in the US.

All new 2014 VW Golf SportsVan
The new SportsVan will replace the Golf Plus. A supersized Golf not sold in the US. From these over optimistic illustrations, it seems a lot slicker than the current model But after seeing how boring the new Golf really is, I am not hopping for much. Plus, just as the Golf Plus, the new SportsVan… Continue reading All new 2014 VW Golf SportsVan

More pix of the all new A3 Convertible
Except fot the ugly side skirts, this might actually be quite nice. In a super conservative and predictable way. It would be nice to see ii in a good color too…

Audi A3 Convertible
Looks pretty real to me, so i assume this is it. With some ugly side skirt option. We never got the hatchback based previous convertible version of the A3. This one is based on the new sedan version. So we will be getting it. It won’t be cheap but should start at well under $40… Continue reading Audi A3 Convertible

Jaguar C-X17 Concept
So far I am disappointed. It just looks like a mix of current Jaguar shapes. Nothing new at all. After the amazing looking F-Type, this might turn out to be quite a let down. And why did they pick that horrible color, for a Jaguar?!?! We will see the whole thing very, very soon. But,… Continue reading Jaguar C-X17 Concept

Nissan Versa Note test drive.
The Versa Note replaces the Versa hatchback for 2014. It is not really a hatch version of the Versa. That would be the new Tilda. Now only sold overseas under other names like Pulsar and Latio. The one we have here is the 2nd generation Nissan Note. Called Versa here so they can inflate the sale… Continue reading Nissan Versa Note test drive.
