Fiat Ottimo/Viaggio hatch
This is basically a Dodge Dart hatchback. Looking good too. This Fiat version is, so far, for China only. You would think that with the success of cars like the Mazda 3 or the Focus, Dodge would sell this over here. The Dart needs some help.

L.A Auto Show: Battle of the doors. CLA vs A3
There will be plenty of competition next year between these 2 small german sedan: The Mercedes CLS and Audi A3. I sat in both of them today. -None of them are very roomy. Both of them have very limited legroom in the back. -The Audi does look more conservative. Like more muscular version of the… Continue reading L.A Auto Show: Battle of the doors. CLA vs A3

L.A Auto Show: 2014 VW Passat Sport
Actually not a bad looking car. The best part is the new interior trim. Which is much better than the super cheap looking fake metal from the base models. And also much nicer than the fake looking wood trim on the SEL. This should be standard.

L.A Auto Show: 2014 Toyota Corolla.
Yes, I just have that one picture of the all new Corolla. To me, it sums up the whole thing. The car feels really cheap inside. The doors sound tiny. And look at that door panel. Hard and cheap looking plastics all over. Not even put together great. And the switches literally look like they… Continue reading L.A Auto Show: 2014 Toyota Corolla.

L.A Auto Show: 2014 Hyundai Elantra
Among the few changes to Elantra for the new years are really nice looking rear lights. And, just a nice chrome line at the bottom of the windows. Just little details that make a good looking car even better. Good job.

L.A Auto Show: Kia K900
I have to say I was very impressed by the big Kia in person. It does look and feel like an expensive car. (even though I am not sure that the black and white interior of the car at the show was the best choice to showcase the car) I don’t see it as a… Continue reading L.A Auto Show: Kia K900

2015 Subaru WRX
The good : 268HP from a 2.0 Liter engine and 6 speed manual. AWD. The bad: Everything your eyes can see. This is, to me, one of the ugliest car at the Auto Show. (The other one being the 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage). It is so sad looking. Nothing works. It looks like a car from… Continue reading 2015 Subaru WRX

L.A Auto Show : Porsche Macan
After listening to a few long boring BS speeches from the suits, we finally saw the Macan in person. It looks very nice. More muscular than the Cayenne. I think this will take plenty of sales from the current Cayenne. At $52 000 to start, it is more than the Cayenne V6. I was told… Continue reading L.A Auto Show : Porsche Macan

L.A Auto Show: Jaguar T-Type Coupe.
Nothing else to say except: it looks amazing. Which was expected since we saw the concept. The pix of the interior are from the Convertible.

Auto Show Day Two
Just a few quick pix from the autoshow floor. The new Jag is gorgeous in person. The Colorado will do just fine. The MKC looks really good. I threw out my back getting out of the new Corvette. More very soon…

Honda Vezel
This is the production version of what we saw last year under the “Urban SUV” name. It is based on the new Fit, and will be smaller and cheaper than the CR-V. I guess that alone means they will sell tons. The CR-V is super popular. On a more religious note, let’s all pray for… Continue reading Honda Vezel

Porsche Macan
Finally. Official pictures. It seems like the Macan has been testing for 20 years… So of course, now there are no surprises at all. Its the small Cayenne we all expected. Only S and Turbo S are available for now. Bth with V6 Turbo engines. With 340 and 400HP. (Europe also gets a Diesel) Since… Continue reading Porsche Macan

Ford Edge Concept
Just like last year’s Lincoln MKC, this is a concept in name only. This is pretty much the next Edge, and it looks really good. And for the 1st time, it will be sold in Europe as well. With the 2.0 Liter and the new 2.3 Liter version with almost 300hp, I predict the death… Continue reading Ford Edge Concept
