2026 Alfa- Romeo Spider EV.
Last Updated:
As mentioned earlier, Alfa-Romeo CEO Jean Philippe Imperato recently mentioned the upcoming EV replacements for the Giulia sedan and Stelvio SUV. As well as a possible rebirth of the GTV coupe. He also mentioned that Alfa-Romeo is also considering a new Spider convertible based on the STLA platform. This would be great and actually would be competing in Europe against the new MG Cyberster.
The last time we heard about a new Spider was back in 2013 when a new Alfa convertible was being developed with the new 2015 Mazda Miata. That never happened and we got the new Fiat 124 Spider instead.
What we know as the classic Alfa Spider came out in 1966 and was produced until 1993. With many modifications along the way. The car is best known by film lovers as the “Graduate car” driven by the Dustin Hoffman character in the classic film.
A new STLA-based Spider sharing many components with the next Giulia to cut costs seems like a no-brainer to me. But who am I…
Alfa should be ICE. NO EV…Come on Imperato
At a 91 spider. What a passionate car to drive. If you build a spider I would definitely buy one. I Love, Alfa Romeo
