They did a pretty good job with keeping the look of the stunning concept they teased us with over a year ago.
And it does feel like the old one. It just looks right for a Mustang. It couldn’t be another car. And that’s great.
The platform shared with the Thunderbird/Lincoln LS/Jaguar S Type should also be light years ahead of the current, outdated model.
Watch out with the options. Make sure you get the extra cost aluminum interior finish. The metalic look on the dash, steering wheels and shifter is well worth the upgrade!
Otherwise, that squarish interior looks pretty depressing. And kind of cheap.
As you can see here, what an improvement. And also, thank God for the “retro fashion”. So the designers didn’t have to think too hard about coming with something original… Right?

Actually, I like the black dash better. I think the aluminum trim looks cheap.
