BMW X6?
That is what these German illustrations are supposed to represent. I cannot believe that BMW would be stupid enough to base a sport sedan off an SUV platform. So I really do not think this thing would ever see the light of day. But who would have thought about a BMW SUV in the 1st… Continue reading BMW X6?

2006 Honda Pilot
Nothing new… But this time it’s official.Goes to show you the spy shot I posted a while ago was the real thing. They just make it look more like their Pick Up truck, in case anyone thought this was a car (which it is) . Or not macho enough. The whole thing has always been really… Continue reading 2006 Honda Pilot

Karmann SUC Concept
I usually wouldn’t care much for this, a weird , disturbing and ugly convertible based on a SUV.But this is based on the next BMW X5. So I just wonder if , somewhere, it gives us a few hints about the BMW design…The interior even has a version of the horrible iDrive. Is it the rear… Continue reading Karmann SUC Concept

2006 BMW X3
One of the cheapest and worse looking SUVs on the market is getting a few, much needed, improvements for the new year. Gone is the cheap looking black plastic all over the bumpers. It made it look about as expensive as a base model 1985 Toyota Tercel…The black stuff you see here is just camouflage and… Continue reading 2006 BMW X3

2006 Volvo C30
Also from inside the design center, this really looks to be the upcoming “small Volvo”, the S30.A 2 door hatchback based on the S40 sedan. This should be out early next year. From that picture, it doesn’t look as good as the Concept they showed us a few years ago. So let’s hope this IS NOT… Continue reading 2006 Volvo C30

Volvo S80
This picture was taken inside the Volvo design center (one of them). It looks like the next S80 to me. It does matches the spy shots we’ve now seen for weeks, and the fact that Volvo said the design would be an evolution of the current look.New engines should include an all new inline 6, and… Continue reading Volvo S80

2007 Camry Hybrid
Toyota announced that the Hybrid version of the Camry will use a 4 cylinder engine. That’s great news!Who needs a 255hp Honda Accord with almost $4 a gallon gas?!?! Toyota made the right decision about the Camry. People in the market for a hybrid want better mileage, not more power. So the Accord gets 30mpg. The Prius… Continue reading 2007 Camry Hybrid

2006 Ford C-Max
Ths C-max is getting a new front end for next year, (To make it look more like the upcoming D-max) but I am not sure if this is an actual picture or just an illustration. It looks pretty real to me, and it does match the spy shots I’ve seen, that all I can say.As far… Continue reading 2006 Ford C-Max

Suzuki D Compact
A weird name for a cute design. And the good news is that it should make it over here. It’ll create a market for “smaller and cheaper SUVs than RAV4” in the US. With all the so called compact SUVs getting bigger and bigger with every redesign…And I think quite a few people are ready for… Continue reading Suzuki D Compact

More Saab interior?
Nope! That’s the Impala. Looks like the revised Saab interior now shares its radio unit with other north American models… I’ll have to make sure, but it sure looks like it.

“New” Saab 9.5 Interior
As you can see, it’s pretty much the same story inside. (Both pictures are the new interior). Not much news…But, unlike the exterior, the inside of the car was always very modern looking. So, small changes here and there aren’t going to ruin it…

2006 Audi A4 Cabriolet
Just like these 2 people, I really wonder what’s the big deal about the “changes”. Just enough, I guess, to keep it in the family and make it look more like the revised A4 line.Engines should be the same as in the sedan, at least in the US. New lights (barely), and that’s about it….

200? Tahoe
Just wondering why they never actually produced that prototype.Seems like it would have been a logical update a couple of years ago. I guess we’ll never know. The all new ones are coming early next year.Just when gas passed $3 a gallon. And it’ll be closer to 4 by the time these updated dinosaurs go… Continue reading 200? Tahoe

The truth about the “small Cadillac”
At first, I thought GM had done a pretty nice job, designing a new interior for the new Cadillac based on the Saab 9.3.But look at this! Besides the obvious trim differences, only the top part of the dash seems new! Even the steering wheel and the shifter are the same!Who is going to get… Continue reading The truth about the “small Cadillac”

More 9.5 Pictures as per request…
Someone here asked for more pictures of the “new” Saab 9.5. So what do I do?I find them, and I post them!!!! That’s what I do.Nothing on the interior yet. But I saw a very small pic (too small to post). Just very minor changes. In the US at least, that is one car with… Continue reading More 9.5 Pictures as per request…

Jaguar XK Convertible
This new convertible version of the redesigned XK will be unveiled at the Detroit Auto show in January. The convertible is always the most popular model in the US.With the Coupe priced at around $80000, this convertible might be pushing $90000. Quite a bit more than the current model. With ultra luxury brands like Bentley announcing their… Continue reading Jaguar XK Convertible

New VW Golf VI
From Germany comes this illustration of the next generation Golf. As a reminder, the current generation is still not on sale in the US! I doubt very much this is very accurate. VW has already been critisized for the current generation looking too much like the old one. So I don’t think they’ll make the… Continue reading New VW Golf VI

Chevrolet Vectra
I just can’t get enough of this. A good looking compact sedan from GM. But for Brazil only.It is based on the German Opel Astra and NOT the larger Opel Vectra. (Names are confusing).Like I said before, it does look like a smaller Saturn Aura (Which IS based on the larger Opel Vectra). So, why… Continue reading Chevrolet Vectra

Peugeot La Griffe
Makes the new Civic interior look like your grandma’s living room, doesn’t it?

2006 Hyundai Accent Hatchback
For some weird reason, the 2 door Accent in the US has been a hatch. The sedan version was presented earlier this year, and now here is the 2 door.A 4 door hatch version might make it in Europe. This “Concept” has 18 inch wheels and a 2.0Liter Turbo engine. That might be a hint… Maybe they… Continue reading 2006 Hyundai Accent Hatchback
