2026 Alfa Romeo Stelvio & Giulia.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan and Stelvio SUV will transition into the EV world in late 2025. Both models will be based on the large version of the new STLA platform. Just like the new Dodge Charger, and Jeep Wagoneer S.
The Stelvio will be the first one coming in the second half of 2025. Followed by the Giulia. Although the current Giulia came out first in 2015. Which is quite amazing as I didn’t realise it was that old. It will be 10 years old by the time its replacement comes out…
The next Giulia and Selvio will be designed and produced in Italy. While the new cars will obviously be EVs, there is an odd rumor of a Hybrid powertrain as well. This doesn’t make much sense since Alfa Romeo had previously mentioned they would become an EV-only manufacturer by 2027. So, good luck hoping for that Hybrid…
So far, Stelantis has been really good at keeping its various brand’s personalities. The new Fiat 600 and Lancia Ypsilon are great examples of platform sharing with very different personalities. And the new Dodge Charger is just fantastic, as well as what we have seen so far of the Jeep Recon and Wagoneer S. I have no doubt these 2 new Alfas will look great.
So far, Alfa’s return to the US hasn’t been such an amazing success, to say the least. They sold fewer than 3500 Giulias over here last year. Even back in 2018, its best year, only 11,519 were sold. As for the Stelvio, things are even worse with only 2,751 units sold last year. Which is actually pretty sad if you ask me…
Let’s hope the new platform makes these good-looking Italian cars a bit more popular over here. If anyone can do it, Stelantis can…
