Nope! That’s the Impala. Looks like the revised Saab interior now shares its radio unit with other north American models… I’ll have to make sure, but it sure looks like it.
“New” Saab 9.5 Interior
As you can see, it’s pretty much the same story inside. (Both pictures are the new interior). Not much news…But, unlike the exterior, the inside of the car was always very modern looking. So, small changes here and there aren’t going to ruin it…
2006 Audi A4 Cabriolet
Just like these 2 people, I really wonder what’s the big deal about the “changes”. Just enough, I guess, to keep it in the family and make it look more like the revised A4 line.Engines should be the same as in the sedan, at least in the US. New lights (barely), and that’s about it….
200? Tahoe
Just wondering why they never actually produced that prototype.Seems like it would have been a logical update a couple of years ago. I guess we’ll never know. The all new ones are coming early next year.Just when gas passed $3 a gallon. And it’ll be closer to 4 by the time these updated dinosaurs go… Continue reading 200? Tahoe
The truth about the “small Cadillac”
At first, I thought GM had done a pretty nice job, designing a new interior for the new Cadillac based on the Saab 9.3.But look at this! Besides the obvious trim differences, only the top part of the dash seems new! Even the steering wheel and the shifter are the same!Who is going to get… Continue reading The truth about the “small Cadillac”
More 9.5 Pictures as per request…
Someone here asked for more pictures of the “new” Saab 9.5. So what do I do?I find them, and I post them!!!! That’s what I do.Nothing on the interior yet. But I saw a very small pic (too small to post). Just very minor changes. In the US at least, that is one car with… Continue reading More 9.5 Pictures as per request…
Jaguar XK Convertible
This new convertible version of the redesigned XK will be unveiled at the Detroit Auto show in January. The convertible is always the most popular model in the US.With the Coupe priced at around $80000, this convertible might be pushing $90000. Quite a bit more than the current model. With ultra luxury brands like Bentley announcing their… Continue reading Jaguar XK Convertible
New VW Golf VI
From Germany comes this illustration of the next generation Golf. As a reminder, the current generation is still not on sale in the US! I doubt very much this is very accurate. VW has already been critisized for the current generation looking too much like the old one. So I don’t think they’ll make the… Continue reading New VW Golf VI
Chevrolet Vectra
I just can’t get enough of this. A good looking compact sedan from GM. But for Brazil only.It is based on the German Opel Astra and NOT the larger Opel Vectra. (Names are confusing).Like I said before, it does look like a smaller Saturn Aura (Which IS based on the larger Opel Vectra). So, why… Continue reading Chevrolet Vectra
Peugeot La Griffe
Makes the new Civic interior look like your grandma’s living room, doesn’t it?
2006 Hyundai Accent Hatchback
For some weird reason, the 2 door Accent in the US has been a hatch. The sedan version was presented earlier this year, and now here is the 2 door.A 4 door hatch version might make it in Europe. This “Concept” has 18 inch wheels and a 2.0Liter Turbo engine. That might be a hint… Maybe they… Continue reading 2006 Hyundai Accent Hatchback
More 2006 TSX Photos
Not such a bad job after all. It didn’t really need anything, but these small changes don’t ruin it either. And, as I mentioned before, the Memory seat and the iPod plug are worth getting the 2006.
2006 Honda Accord Coupe
Not as many changes as the sedan, but it didn’t need it. I am always surprised how good looking this car is, every time I see one. I recently drove an EX V6 and was extremely impressed. What a car for the price. A solid, good looking and refined ride. (and retaining almost half of… Continue reading 2006 Honda Accord Coupe
2006 Acura TSX
The real thing this time.Just for Acura. It has now more differences compared to the Euro Accord. The ugly side skirts make it look a bit vulgar. ( it also kind of looks like the previous generation TL…)The TSX was a really classy looking car. I hope it looks better in person….
2006 Euro Accord/Acura TSX ?
Well, kind of… This is actually the 1st official picture of the 2006 European Accord. Which is the same car as our Acura TSX.Except for the interior. As you can see, this pretty much matches the changes Acura described earlier about the TSX.I don’t think it is an improvement. I really like the TSX the way… Continue reading 2006 Euro Accord/Acura TSX ?
“not so cool” Solstice
I just found out (from the official specs) that the Solstice does not offer side airbags. That’s a big turn off in my book. Especially after watching side impact crash tests conducted a few months ago, showing a huge difference in safety between cars with and without that option…And newer convertibles like the Mazda MX5,… Continue reading “not so cool” Solstice
2007 Nissan Skyline GTR
This illustration from Japan shows what the next GTR might look like. (I think the actual thing might look much more agressive). The GTR is based on what we know here as the Infiniti G35 Coupe. The G35 will be new for 2007. And the GTR will be part of the lineup in the US for… Continue reading 2007 Nissan Skyline GTR

“Small” Rolls Royce
They have made it official, there will be a smaller model for Rolls Royce. This is the 1st illustration I’ve seen of it.Just like every luxury car maker out there, they are moving down market. In this case, they are going against the $160 000 Bentley GT. No news on what it will be based, but… Continue reading “Small” Rolls Royce
2006 Opel Frontera
It’s about time for Opel to replace the old Frontera, an Isuzu based SUV… This spy shot is clearly the next Frontera, based on the Chevrolet/Daewoo small SUV concept shown last year. But it seems that only the front lights and grill are different from the Chevy. Both cars are supposed to be sold in… Continue reading 2006 Opel Frontera
