New Honda Convertible
I know I posted the top illustration before. But there is new info about that car. This would not be the replacement for the S2000 but an all new model that would compete with the Miata. So it would be quite a bit cheaper than the S2000.As you can see it would have a folding hard top.… Continue reading New Honda Convertible

More Hyundai i30 pictures
Looks like it is based on the Elantra, but much better looking.I have seen a few Elantras on the road, and they look like a 10 year old design (At least).Even if their interior is really nice, and I am sure they drive fine. This design is much better and more in tune with a… Continue reading More Hyundai i30 pictures

Stola Phalcon
This small company called Scola plans to start selling cars soon. The Phalcon prototype uses a 2 turbo V12 Mercedes engine with 750hp. As you can see, even if the design isn’t much better than the latest weirdess from China, it might still be enough to impress the ladies. At least the ones paid to stand… Continue reading Stola Phalcon

Maserati Grand Turismo

Ford E-Series van
Yet another front end for the old Ford van. That thing is like a time machine. Now the obnoxious front end makes the airport shuttle look like a construction truck….

Twingo 2 details
The interior of the new Twingo seems more fun and original than the exterior. The car looks nice, but the 1st one was a breakthrough when it came out. This doesn’t look better or more original than other European Minis like the small Citroens or Peugeots. Too bad….

BMW Diesel in the US in 2008
BMW announced they would start selling their Diesel models in the US for 2008.Not sure which ones yet. In Europe, pretty much every BMW model is available with a Diesel. I was lucky to have a friend who had just bought a 525 D last time I was in Europe (3 years ago) and got… Continue reading BMW Diesel in the US in 2008

Camaro in Europe
GM annouced today it will seel the new Camaro in Europe in 2009. Good news for our European cousins, if they can afford the gas bill that comes with a sporty V8.

Phaeton Facelift
That’s right, VW hasn’t given up on the Phaeton, at least in Europe. This running contradiction has been canceled in the US a while ago. The $90 000 VW was one of the biggest mistake anyone could have done.Maybe it is a good deal as a used car.

New Nissan X Trail
Again, not for US.But I think this is pretty popular where they sell it.That includes Canada, Europe and Mexico. It looks very much like the old one, but Nissan claims it is “all new”…

Honda Milieu Concept
I must say I was expecting much more from the new Small Hybrid concept from Honda.I thought this would be a preview of an upcoming small hybrid car.Not the usual Buck Rogers type concept that we’ll never see in production. And it just looks too weird and unattractive anyway. A waste of time…

Toyota Hybride Concept
Is it too much to ask for a concept that actually would preview the next Prius? This looks OK and very futuristic, but I don’t think we’ll see it in the streets in our lifetime. It is obviously pretty far from any production model. Let’s hope Toyota keeps some of it for the Prius….

2009 Cadillac CTS Diesel
A new 2.9 Liter unit. I guess that means Cadillac is getting serious about the European market. No specs yet.

Inside the “2”
The new Mazda 2 is a looker inside and out.Remember this is an inexpensive car that would start under $13000 in the US.So far to me, it looks better than anything we have over here in that range. And it will come to the US as a 2008 model.

2008 Twingo
This time it is for real, I swear. The real thing, from Renault itself. A really nice update. And it was about time too.

New Twingo, now it’s official (??)
I guess it is. It still looks like a bad fake picture to me.
