• 2018 Honda Civic SI

After the visual nightmare of the hatchback, I was expecting the worst for the new Sporty Si version of the sedan and coupe. I was actually pleasantly surprised. As it does look quite restrained. Especially the sedan. I guess it does compete with cars like the Jetta GLI and Elantra Sport. Both of these cars… Continue reading 2018 Honda Civic SI

  • 2018 Subaru Outback

As you can see, it’s not an all new model. Just the usual mid-cycle changes. The 2018 model is the green one on top. The front end does look mode modern. The new headlights help a lot…. Inside, the dashboard is actually mostly new. And does look much better. Simpler and more upscale. Looks like… Continue reading 2018 Subaru Outback

  • 2018 Tesla Model 3

Here is a final version of the tesla Model 3 prototype testing in California. Tesla has decided to skip regular prototype testing for the Model 3. (They probably are under huge pressure to deliver the car on time) Which could be a huge mistake as far as quality control goes… Instead they went straight to… Continue reading 2018 Tesla Model 3

  • 2018 Ford Explorer

Some people call it the 2018 Explorer, others the 2019.From  these pictures it looks pretty much ready to go. The Explorer will finally move away from the current platform which was based on Volvo.back when Ford used to now it.I guess the next one will be based on a longer version of the Fusion/Edge platform.Already being… Continue reading 2018 Ford Explorer

  • Another day, another Chinese start up Electric car…

I have to say, this looks really good. The company is called Singulato. They claim their electric SUV will compete with the Tesla model3 and could be sold in the US for around $30 000. A concept version will be shown on April 13th. Sure! Why not? The more the better.

  • 2018 Audi A8

This is just an illustration. But why not. Audis are easy to guess. Just square off the current design bit and you have the next one. So I am sure this is pretty close to what we will see in a few weeks/months. And again, it will be quite invisible. It’ll be like “since they… Continue reading 2018 Audi A8

  • Revised 2018/18 Toyota Corolla

The Corolla is getting some crazy looking headlights. In China. This doesn’t look too bad. It also looks nicer than the giant mouth of a grille our Toyotas are getting. And these headlights are actually pretty cool looking….

  • 2018 Buick Regal “Sedan”

The translation from Opel Insignia to Buick Regal is a great one. The only thing I think could be improved is the “kind of old” wheel design. (Others might be available though…) Otherwise, this looks really good. I think the design will appeal to regular sedan buyers. Who will just enjoy the hatchback as an… Continue reading 2018 Buick Regal “Sedan”

  • 2018 Subaru Crosstrek

Every time I see a current version of the Crosstrek, I am surprised how I like it much better than the Impreza. Since, after all, it is just a jacked up Impreza hatchback with a few “faux SUV” plastic trims here and there. Now the Impreza hatchback looks nicer than before. And the transformation to… Continue reading 2018 Subaru Crosstrek

  • 2018 Hyundai Kona teaser.

Here is the very first official teaser of the all new Hyundai Kona. The Kona will basically go against the Nissan Juke and the new Toyota C-HR. (And many others) The teaser shows a very modern light design. Especially for an inexpensive car.  Here is the real thing, caught testing in Europe. Here we see… Continue reading 2018 Hyundai Kona teaser.

I know there are a few new things this month on HBO Go, Netflix or even Amazon Prime. But really. They don’t have anything like the exclusive “Burlapp Videos”. So here is a recap of the most recent ones. The all new 2018 Chevrolet traverse can be found HERE. The 2018 Volvo XC60 is HERE.  HERE is an exclusive preview of the… Continue reading Just a few recent videos…

  • New Infiniti concept?

“Huge unveil, April 11, 2017, New York” That’s all the official PR says about this. From the headlights, it looks like a concept, not a production model. Although, from what Infiniti has done in the past, there should be very little difference from the concept to production. People are saying this is the new QX80.… Continue reading New Infiniti concept?
