• A talk with Fritz

Embedded video from CNNMoney.com VideoInteresting interview. I just wonder if all the non car people he’s talking about are really a good idea for the “new GM”.That’s exactly what is missing in these companies, car people.

  • 2010 Jaguar XJ Interior video

Seems like they did try to make it as shinny as possible. I just wished the whole thing could look a bit simpler. Simplicity shows maturity in design. This doesn’t, really…

  • 2010 Jaguar XJ Video

Notice how they really try to avoid the rear of the car. And they especially don’t spend much time on these weird looking black panels. That means they know. They know it looks really bad. The rest of the car is actually OK. The front looks really nice. That’s why they have so many shots of it.

  • 2010 Jaguar XJ

So that’s it. The all new Jag. From these pictures, at least, it looks like a weird cartoon of a Jaguar. Something a kid would draw. Looks like a bunch of designs put together. Like about 6 designers worked on the car without ever talking to each other… Or maybe it’s just the pictures.Who knows…

  • New B2001 Buck Lacrosse pictures

At least from these, it doesn’t look like this car could turn Buick around. Would you really consider it if you never thought of getting Buick before? Looks like GM will need tons of advertising money to even try to change people’s mind about Buick not being a car for the over 70 crowd…

  • Buick Excelle

The new Excelle will be based on the Opel Astra. A sedan version will still be offered, just like the old model. The Excelle has been, so far, an exclusive model for the Chinese market. But there has been rumored about bringing the small Buick to the US where it would be positioned under the upcoming Regal.

  • Alfa Romeo Milano

Again, this is supposed to make it over here. I guess the main competition will be from the Audi A3.Unless it can be made in the US cheap enough to go against a loaded Mazda3. We’ll see…

  • New Saab 9-5

Another picture of the covered up sedan. We have seen spy pics for this car for over 28 years now.

  • BMW 3 series GT

Just another illustration of what the next 3 series hatchback could look like.I’m sure there won’t be any surprises when it comes out. And that it will be pretty close to what we can see here.

  • Alfa Romeo Milano

The upcoming all new Milano is supposed to be coming over here. Not sure yet if it will be sold as an Alfa, or rebadged as a Dodge or Chrysler. I just hope they sell these cars under the Alfa Romeo brand. The Chrysler and Dodge brands have been pretty much worthless for years.Do you actually… Continue reading Alfa Romeo Milano

  • Chevrolet Spark

Caught somewhere…This will make it in the US. And will even be built in Michigan, apparently.I’m not sure how they will be able to bring the price under the Korean built Aveo. Unless this replaces the Aveo at least in the US. Good luck…

  • 2012 BMW 3 series?

Just another illustration. There will be plenty of them coming up within the next couple of years. It does look nice and realistic. But nothing amazing, really. Just like the current one. it’s OK. The coupe looks so much better than the sedan.

  • Mazda MX2 coming up???

Auto Express seems to think a “smaller than Miata” convertible is coming from Mazda within a couple of years.I find it hard to believe. After test driving the MX5 a few times, I really cannot imagine anything smaller. Especially inside.

  • BMW X1

Finally some official pictures. And we see the interior too. It’s actually not that bad. And much, much better than the horrific looking X3. (But what isn’t…)At least in Europe the engine offered include a 2.3 Liter Diesel and a 2.8 Liter. More later….
