• BMW 1 series Coupe commercial

I must say I was a bit disappointed by it when I sat inside one a few weeks ago.The interior just doesn’t really feel like a car that starts at $30 000. It goes way past that with just a few options. I just think it’s too expensive for what it is.

  • Dead man walking: Mercury

Sure looks like it. Sales down every year.No more stand alone Mercury dealerships. No new models after the 2009 revised Milan.(Picture above)Removal of all national TV ads. What do you think?

  • Peugeot 308 CC

Looks like this is coming out sooner than later.Nothing surprising. But still, another good looking convertible.

  • Chinese Jetta

I guess the current model sold over there was still based on the previous generation. This looks like the one we have here, with a different, and much worse, front end.

  • 2009 Corvette ZR1

Over 620hp and around $100 000.The black one seems to be the closest thing to owning the Batmobile. But for that much cash, you’d think GM could have put an all new interior. It doesn’t look great in the base car, so even with some nice trim changes, it still looks cheap for a $100 000… Continue reading 2009 Corvette ZR1

  • Kia Soul

Sure it’s toned down a bit from the concept. But it still might be pretty cool. It looks like they kept the general shape pretty similar. A direct competition to the Scion, for even cheaper. Why not.

  • VW Routan???

Apparently this is what VW will call their version of the new Chrysler minivans. If the picture is the real thing, it looks like they did quite a bit of changes . But that name .Are you kidding me? Say it out loud and it sounds like “crouton”

  • Upcoming small Rolls

This illustration seems really weird. I hope this is not what the “small” Rolls actually looks like. There is too much phony art deco crap all over. But it doesn’t really matter does it?I mean, how many of these will we ever see. it won’t really change our landscape.

  • Interesting…

Edmunds has a really interesting article about “real” people comparing the Malibu with the Camry and Accord.Interesting because again, the results are quite different than they would have been just a year ago. Click on the title for the whole thing.

  • Nissan Forum concept Pictures

That looks pretty amazing.the interior is just a bit crazy for production. But the exterior looks like they could actually build something really close. I love it. But again, I am not in the market for a minivan. And usually, people who are, prefer boring ones…

  • Honda Inspire

I wasn’t sure they could make the US Accord weirder looking but they did.So it can be done. The rear view on this Japan only model looks even worse than the US model. Quite an accomplishment. But I must say, the dark wood makes the interior look much more upscale than what we have over… Continue reading Honda Inspire

  • Chery/Dodge in Mexico

The Chinese press is reporting that Dodge will sell “very soon” the Chinese made Chery A1 mini car in Mexico under its own name. The A1 looks like one of these really scary/unsafe tiny Chinese cars. So I guess Chrysler is trying it in Mexico where they don’t have so many safety regulations. Nice… If… Continue reading Chery/Dodge in Mexico

  • Nissan Forum concept

Looks like Nissan is ready to try something different with the Minivan idea.I still like the current Quest, but I guess most minivan buyers don’t. At least they don’t go back to the drawing board to come up with something lame for the masses. Like the new Chrysler/Dodge vans.I just wonder if that is actually… Continue reading Nissan Forum concept

  • GMC Terrain

This was shown a few weeks ago at the Kuwait auto show. I thought it was just one of these local rebadged GM cars. But now it seems we might get this in the US. At the same time when Pontiac will stop selling the Torrent. It makes sense to concentrate the Pontiac brand on cars, and… Continue reading GMC Terrain

  • Mercedes GLK

That is one ugly SUV. To me, this looks pretty much like a 1980’s Russian truck.Maybe that’s what they’re going for…. Click on the title for the picture.

  • Laguna Coupe illustration

This gives us an idea of what the production version of the Laguna Coupe could look like. That would be fantastic. The sedan is OK, but this is pretty amazing. And much, much better looking than the Altima Coupe on which it is loosely based.
