More pictures ofthe Acura TSX
More of the same.I guess that’s what they want…. At least they don’t label it as a “4 door sports car”….

2009 Honda Fit
Good news all aroud. The US only gets the larger 1.5 Liter engine.16 inch wheels on the Sprort model, as well as navigation and iPod integration. Plus, we will get the AWD option. With rising gas prices, I can see this getting very popular in the US.

Scion Hako Concept
I am actually torn on this one… My first reaction was to throw up, a little. But it is actually quite an original take on the squared off cubic car design. So who knows… I’m just not sure anyone is ready to see this yet as a Tc replacement. But at least, it does look like nothing else.… Continue reading Scion Hako Concept

2009 Acura TSX
Nice car. But it’s really for someone who doesn’t want to get noticed. Nobody will see this except owners of the current model. I guess fear was at the head of the design team on this one…

Challenger R/T V8 and SE V6
For those who want a V8 but don’t want to spend $40 000, here is the R/T. Still with 375hp.And for most, who don’t really need more than a V6 with 250hp, here is the SE. And yes, the assy blue photoshop picture of the Se is the official deal….

Ford Transit Taxi Concept
It’s not the 1st time someone tries to re-invent the New York taxi with a small car. I still remember the Giugiaro idea from the 70’s.Bu tit is good to see Ford pushing their small delivery type van in the US no matter what. Even if i don’t think it is ready to take on… Continue reading Ford Transit Taxi Concept

Pontiac Solstice Coupe
We’ll have to wait almost a year to see this sin the street. It will be a very early 2010 model. -Same engines as the convertible. -Choice of hard or soft targa top.-No place to store the hard top.-Larger trunk than the convertible I thin it looks great. But the soft top looks pretty dorky.… Continue reading Pontiac Solstice Coupe

More Maxima pictures
Still looks like a super Altima to me. I guess I was expecting too much…

Next VW Golf?
This is obviously inspired by the new Scirocco. So who knows. It doesn’t look like the all new Golf will be all that great looking anyway. The current one is fine, this one might not be that much better….

More Genesis coupe photos
The exterior is almost growing on me. But the interior still has a cheap feel to it.A wannabe Infiniti.Maybe another color….

Buick Invicta Çoncept
This is suppose to give us a clue about what the next La Crosse will look like. If they even keep that name.I guess it will be a bit smaller and share more with the next Malibu and Aura.More in line with the Camry/Accord crowd. It’s about time Buick gets something competitive in the segment.… Continue reading Buick Invicta Çoncept

2009 Nissan Maxima
At least from these pictures, I would call this a disappointment. After all these talks about “rethinking the concept”, maybe doing s sort of “4 door coupe” etc….They just did the exact same thing they did the last time: a bigger Maxima. Again.Sure it’ll be a very nice car. But visually, it looks like an… Continue reading 2009 Nissan Maxima

Pontiac Solstice Coupe
We’ll see this in just a few days.Again, it looks very close to the concept from a few years ago.Good to see GM taking the Solstice seriously and keep spending money on it.

How about a red one?
Still nothing exciting. There is nothing new inside either.Again, it might just be a cheaper version of many other cars like the G37.
-
Hyundai Genesis coupe
Here are the first official pictures. The design looks a bit busy to me. Not a very clean look.It is pretty nice but doesn’t seem to offer anything new or special.Which means, like most Hyundais, it will rely on a cheaper price. But is that really what they are looking for???

Pontiac G8 V8 Review
I guess squeezing a big V8 in an affordable car has been an American and Australian specialty for decades. Which explains this car.Although 99% of buyers will be perfectly satisfied with the “base” V6 and its 256hp, the availability of 361hp in a $30 000 car might be tempting to some.just like the V6 version,… Continue reading Pontiac G8 V8 Review
