• BMW 1-Serie GT

These patent illustration compare the production model, on top, to the Active Tourer Concept from last year. It is different, but really close.  I guess close enough to be OK. Not sure yet if this is coming to the US. Probably not, since it is a FWD hatchback.

  • Next Mini Cooper .

Only the interior so far, and not even the whole thing. Mostly the dashboard. All I can say is: It’s still a Mini. Which is fine. On these pictures, the rectangular air vents next to the round center piece seem to work. We will see the whole thing very soon.

  • 2015/16 Chevrolet Cruze

These illustrations look pretty realistic, and match most of the spy shots we have seen  before. The current Cruze is selling very well. So well the next one has been delayed by almost a year. I wonder if that means that the next Cruze and the next Volt will now come out at the same… Continue reading 2015/16 Chevrolet Cruze

  • 2014 Skoda Yeti

For its 5th year on the market, the Yeti gets a new face. Which is fine, as it still looks pretty good. Things are pretty much the same inside, except the cheesy fake wood trim seems to be gone. To me, that 5 year old interior still looks better than the current Jetta… Since the… Continue reading 2014 Skoda Yeti

  • More GLA Pix

Just a few more pix of the all new GLA. Looking great. And look how thick these doors are! Last year’s concept. You can see how close Mercedes was able to stay to the original idea. There are changes of course, like frames around the doors, the tail lights are not all part of the… Continue reading More GLA Pix

  • All new Mercedes GLA

Looking almost exactly like the concept we saw earlier. Which is a really good thing. As it looked great. Based on the CLA sedan, it uses the same 2.0 Liter Turbo. FWD or AWD.  It should be priced a few 1000s more than the $30 000 CLA. Battling the new Audi Q3 and the BMW… Continue reading All new Mercedes GLA

  • 2015 Honda Fit Sedan?

We are getting a sedan version of the all new Fit next year. Many other countries have had it before, called the City. Which was based on the previous Fit. This illustration shows what a sedan version of the new 2014 Fit would look like. And I must say, I think it looks much better… Continue reading 2015 Honda Fit Sedan?

  • BMW i8 model

Not sure where this is from, it doesn’t look like one of these toys you can buy. Maybe something at a BMW stand somewhere. But it shows how close the production model will be to the concept. Except for the glass doors. We will see the whole thing in just a few weeks now.

  • 2014 Cadillac Escalade

Yes, this is the headlight of the next Escalade. Looking weird, futuristic and expensive. We will see the whole thing next month, on the 7th. It could actually be interesting.

  • New 2014 Ford Everest

The Everest has been around in Australia since 2003. The current model is just a “facelifted” version of the one that came out in 2006. It is a truck based SUV based on the Australian version of the Ford Ranger. Since the Ranger was redesigned (And still not sold in the US) back in 2011,… Continue reading New 2014 Ford Everest

  • All new Honda Civic Tourer

This is the wagon version of the Euro Civic. Which is a more modern looking hatchback version of the sedan we have over here. No surprises , since Honda showed a Concept version a few months ago. And the production model is pretty much the same car. With the Euro Civic interior. Not sure why… Continue reading All new Honda Civic Tourer

  • Infiniti Q30 Concept

It is no secret that Infiniti will soon have a new model under the Q50. Especially if they want to expand in Europe. But also in the US where they will need to compete with the new Audi A3 and Mercedes CLS. So this concept shown in Germany next month will give us an idea… Continue reading Infiniti Q30 Concept

  • New Hyundai i10: The German Hyundai

The all new redesigned i10 has been designed and developed  in Germany. It will also be built in Europe. Which makes it actually more European than some German cars sold here. (Like the US Passat) And of course, this being super small, it isn’t coming to the US.

  • 2015 Kia Sedona

This is the “official” rendering from Kia. Showing us how cool and different the all new Sedona minivan will be. Looking more like an oversized Kia Soul than a regular boring minivan. Finally someone is trying something new. Or are they? These are spy shots of the actual thing. As you can see, it doesn’t… Continue reading 2015 Kia Sedona

  • Opel Monza Concept

Just another picture I thought I’d share. Just that one. We should see much more of that car very soon. As they claim it shows Opel’s new design language. And probably Buick’s as well. Yet another hint at a Buick Coupe?
