• Revised Lexus IS

I guess this will be a 2010 model since it will be introduced early 2009. On top of what you see, they will get new wheels as well. And I would guess a much needed boost for the base 2.5 liter engine.

  • Subaru Forester Diesel coming up

At least in Europe. The 2.0 Liter will produce 150hp and much more torque than the 2.5 Liter. All available at 1800rpm. I almost was going to say that we could use this over here. But last time I checked, Diesel fuel was still $1 more than regular gas.

  • Toyota iQ VS. Smart

I saw the iQ at a dealer when I was in Europe last month. They had 2 pre-production models at the main Toyota display in Paris.I was surprised about how wide the car looked. Much, much wider than the Smart. And I think this is why it might be a hit. It doesn’t feel like a… Continue reading Toyota iQ VS. Smart

  • 2010 Ford Fusion

Once again, they changed the best part of the car: the front end. The interior is also new, but from the spy pics I’ve seen, not that amazing… I’ll report on it much more when I see it for myself at the L.A AutoShow… Click on the title for the whole story…

  • Opel Insignia Wagon

But they officially call it “Sport Tourer”. I guess “Wagon” is still a dirty word, somehow…This is really nice looking. Even the Audi Q7 inspired rear hatch works. It makes it a bit more original than most other mid sized wagons. The Insignia will be our next Aura. Let’s hope this makes it over here… Continue reading Opel Insignia Wagon

  • Chevrolet Volt teasers

GM has just released a few teasers of the production Volt. They don’t show much more than what we already know…

  • 2010 Pontiac G8 ST

That is now the official name of the “El Camino” version of the Pontiac G8.It might seem like a crazy idea to come up with a new pick-up when gas is so expensive. But I think it might actually turn out to be popular. It is obvious that by now, most people who actually do… Continue reading 2010 Pontiac G8 ST

  • Aveo reliability

This is from JD Powers.About the 2004 Chevrolet Aveo, which I think, was the 1st year. Most cars do improve with age. I am sure the 2008 and 2009 would have better numbers. Even VW improves… I will be getting mine in a couple of days and will report on it. Not sure yet if that… Continue reading Aveo reliability

  • Next Ford C-Max?

The current C-Max is one of the most boring looking cars in Europe. But this Fiesta inspired illustration looks great. We are scheduled to get the next generation over here within a couple of years. And I’m sure a small 7 seater car looking that good would sell quite a bit in the US.

  • 2009 Mazda Miata???

Who knows…This might be real. the Miata is supposed to get some changes for the next year, and that includes a revised front end.(And let’s hope, an iPod plug inside) I am scheduled to drive one the last week of October. I know wonder if it will be the revised one or a 2008…

  • Revised Mitsubishi Colt

Or “how to ruin a nice design”.The top car is the one coming out soon, with the all new front end.The bottom one is the current model, on sale for the past few years. But still a modern and quite original model. Now Mitsubishi wants to make sure the Colt has the same front end as… Continue reading Revised Mitsubishi Colt
